Dr Adam Alexander: Presentations

Dr Adam Alexander attained an honours BSc degree from the University of St Andrews and then attained an MBChB degree from the University of Glasgow. He has performed thousands of highly successful surgical procedures and investigations since graduating from Medical School.

Dr Alexander has delivered many presentations throughout his career. His presentations have covered a wide range of topics related to surgery and how to improve patient care and surgical outcomes. He also chaired Clinical Governance meetings and led departmental improvement with wide-ranging benefits to his patients and his hospitals. As a former leader in his field, he has managed consultant surgeon teams and directed progress. He is an expert at problem solving, communication and discussing feedback as well as finding solutions to resolve departmental governance issues.

Areas of particular interest for Dr Alexander include plastic surgery and, specifically, body contouring. The latter incorporates procedures such as high-definition liposuction, which uses an intensive sculpting technique that gives a more toned result compared to traditional liposuction, with an increased definition of musculature. Like basic liposuction, the high-definition procedure is an effective way to remove stubborn pockets of fat virtually anywhere on the body.

Dr Alexander enjoys a varied range of hobbies including skiing, martial arts, watching movies, playing chess and training at the gym. He’s a keen musician and a diploma-level pianist. Dr Alexander also likes to play tennis, badminton, golf and American football – regarding the latter, his favourite team is the New England Patriots.
